    • Six months after marrying Alexander in 1870, Ann remained in Lochee for 3 years while Alexander worked in India. In 1874 a second child was born - Margaret, but who died in 1878 when Ann had joined her husband in India. Jessie was also born in India in 1878 before emigrating to NZ in 1879 where the other children were born.
